About Me

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:

In 2019, I earned a Ph.D. in Physics, specializing in Nanotechnology, from the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar (IIT BBS)
My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Physics, from Banki Autonomous College, Cuttack. 
This was followed by a Master's in Physics with a specialization in Electronics from Utkal University, Odisha.

EXPERIENCES:

October 2021 - Present: Associate Professor at Centurion University of Technology and Management, Paralakhemundi, Odisha.

September 2018 - October 2021: Assistant Professor at Centurion University of Technology and Management, Paralakhemundi, Odisha.

August 2010 - July 2013: Lecturer at Synergy Institute of Engineering & Technology, Dhenkanal.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS:

Passed the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by the Government of India in June 2013.
Achieved All India Rank 72 in the Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) in 2011.
Served as a Junior Research Fellow at IIT Bhubaneswar in 2013.

- Exploring ion irradiation techniques to modify the surfaces of semiconductor-based nanowires/nanotubes for supercapacitor applications.
- Developing reliable, high-efficiency nanotube-based nano-electronic devices beyond the proof of concept.
- Synthesizing complex nanoscale hybrid objects and modifying them for high-throughput nanoelectronics and biomedical applications.
- Creating a synergistic platform by integrating ion-solid interaction with nanostructured materials for potential and reliable applications.


Technical Expertise:  
- Growth, structural, and optical characterization of one-dimensional nanostructures.
- Commissioning, installation, and smooth operation of electron spectroscopy setups.
- Proficiency in ultra-high vacuum techniques, including the use of various pumps, understanding of vacuum chambers, flanges, gauges, leak detectors, etc.
- Fundamental knowledge and technical expertise in ion-solid interactions.
- Experience with various filament-based ion sources and electron sources.
