About Me

I work as an Associate Professor of English in the Department of English, Centurion University of Technology and Management. I have completed PhD in English ( English Language Education) from the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. I also possess B.Ed (English) and MPhil ( English) from the same university. My research areas include andragogy and ESP ( English for Specific Purposes). During my 8 years of teaching experiences, I have got opportunities to involve myself in syllabus revision of many English language courses.

Research Fields

My research falls under the broad area of English Language Teaching and English for Specific Purposes, specifically. My PhD study is based on evaluating English language teaching in technical institutes in Odisha. I have written and published 7 research papers and presented them in various national and international conferences. My latest publication (Book Chapters) includes four classroom lessons on a book titled " Classroom tasks in English- A Resource Book for Multilingual", published by Viva Books (2019).
