Empagliflozin is a sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 (SGLT-2) inhibitor. SGLT2 co-transporters are responsible for the reabsorption of glucose from the glomerular filtrate in the kidney. The glucuronic effect resulting from SGLT2 inhibition reduces renal absorption and lowers the renal threshold for glucose, resulting in increased glucose excretion. SMEDDS are commercially feasible, simple, and convenient novel vehicles for delivery of medicaments which can enhance drug absorption with reduced systemic side effects. They can be used to optimize drug targeting without a concomitant increase in systemic absorption. Appropriate excipient selection and safety evaluation especially of the cosurfactants and Oil is crucial in the formulation of SMEDDS. They can be potential drug delivery systems for the delivery of more than one medicament simultaneously.

Women are most likely to develop ovarian carcinoma, the leading source of transience and morbidity for
cancers that affect women. As the seventh greatest deadly malignancy among women, it is composed of
heterogeneous groups of neoplasms. Studies have identified numerous endogenous and exogenous
factors associated with ovarian cancer development. The International Federation released a report of
Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FIGO) on this development has led to a revision of the staging system to
provide prognostic information and recommendations regarding the treatment of ovarian cancer.
Various cancer drugs have been developed over the past several years that are less toxic and more
effective, so there is an increasing need for exact and consistent cancer diagnostics and prognoses. In
managing ovarian cancer, biomarkers have helped separate benign from malignant masses in the pelvis
and monitor response to treatment. Over the past four decades, CA125 has been the primary marker for
ovarian cancer. This study is intended to present an updated global view of epithelial ovarian carcinoma,
the most common form
Dysfunction or death of pigment-producing cells causes vitiligo. As a result, white patches or macules
can appear anywhere on the body including the mouth, eyes, hair, and other areas. Vitiligo is more
noticeable in darken skin people. It is not contagious or life-threatening but may lead to mental stress or
get down to one’s self-confidence. It occurs in both males and females. There is a wide variety of medical
treatments available for those suffering from vitiligo. The treatment range from steroid creams to
phototherapy, to surgery. Plant-based therapeutic preparation is recurrent to complement dermatological
therapy. There is the use of traditional herbal drugs in vitiligo treatment. Some herbs are used topically
on one’s skin or orally consumed which helps in minimizing or decreasing the white patches or macules.
Herbal drug constituents like capsaicin, piperine, curcumin, khellin, and green tea polyphenols having
antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-necrobiosis properties are found to have very effective treatment
options for vitiligo.
Mycosis is caused by a fungus belonging to the Mucorales order and the Zygomycetes class
is known as Mucor mycosis. Mucor mycosis is generally known as black fungus disease. This infection primarily goals
diabetic and immunocompromised patients. As COVID-19 infection drops the
immunity of patients, mucormycotic cases are also growing due to inhalation of molds containing industrial oxygen.
The key objective of the present
article is to deliver a wide-ranging review on Mucor mycosis, its epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment, pathophysiology,
and its association with COVID-19. Mucor mycosis is a rare invasive fungal infection that has a developed mortality
rate if not diagnosed well. There are six forms
of Mucor mycosis based on anatomical localization such as pulmonary,
cutaneous, rhino cerebral,
gastrointestinal, miscellaneous, and disseminated. Patients receiving treatment
for iron overload Assume a higher risk of getting black fungus. The finding and
treatment of Mucor mycosis are characteristically
tough based on sputum culture, imaging analysis, and Broncho alveolar lavage culture.
Treatment with Amphotericin B and suitable
surgery can rise the survival rate up to 1.5 folds.
COVID-19 infected patients with black fungus are getting first-line treatment with antifungal drugs to moderate the
infections. Abundant research is required for the
encounter of new drug
therapy in the coming future.
In the present investigation, an attempt was made to improve the
dissolution rate of Aceclofenac by preparing and evaluating a sustained
drug delivery system of aceclofenac tablets with different grade
polymere HPMC K4M, HPMC K100 M and compared with pure drug.
The prepared dispersion were evaluated for their physiochemical and dissolution
characteristics.

Radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and removal of solid tumors by the surgical method are known as former treatments. But in chemotherapy, the main quantifiable drawbacks occur due to limitation in the entrapment of drug from the site of application to the desired tumor tissue. To challenge the former diagnosis, researchers have invented a new and remarkable boon called "targeted delivery" which plays an eye-catching and significant therapeutic efficacy of the chemotherapeutics agent via liposomal drug delivery system with a notable curbing approach. The reward of liposome as a theranostic carrier over conventional dosage forms represented by their bioavailability, enhanced solubility, low systemic toxicity, and their ability to encapsulate both the hydrophilic and hydrophobic drugs. The existing approaches used for liposomal drug delivery are active targeting and passive targeting. In this context liposomal system offers a confined platform for targeted delivery to the lungs loaded with anti-cancer active pharmaceutical ingredients by encapsulation within the liposomal core which serves as the most promising diagnostic head to break the overwhelming growth of lung malignancy.
