About Me

Dr. Goutam Kumar Dash has received his doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in Botany from Utkal University, Odisha. He completed his doctoral research at the Crop Physiology and Biochemistry Division of ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack. Following his PhD, he worked as a Research Associate at NRRI, Cuttack to conduct further research.  His research is primarily focused on abiotic stress physiology, root biology and functional organization and regulation of the photosynthetic light reactions. His research outcomes have been published in a number of prestigious international journals.  Currently, he is serving as a Review Editor in Frontiers in Plant Science journal. He has been working as an Assistant professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Crop Physiology, MSSSoA, Centurion University, Parlakhemundi Campus since July 2022.
