Dr. G. Vidya Sagar Reddy, MFSc., PhD, Professor in the School of Fisheries, Centurion University of Technology and Management, Paralakhemundi, Odisha. He has the experience of working for more than 30 years at the Agriculture and Veterinary University of Andhra Pradesh and/ Telangana in the fields of Fish Processing Technology and Aquaculture. He was a recipient of the University of Agricultural Science Gold Medal in 1996 (BFSc), 1998 (MFSc), and 1993 (PhD). He received Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University Best Teacher Award in 2012, the Andhra Pradesh State Best Teacher Award in 2011, and the ICAR New Delhi Best Team Research Award in 2010. He also received the Best Teacher Award in 2003, 2007, and 2011 from the Professional Fisheries Graduate Forum, Mumbai. He has operated 09 Externally Funded Research Projects. He organized 64 Training Programmes for the benefit of Fishermen, Fisherwomen, Rural Youth, Aquapreneurs, and Fisheries Department officials. He has also organized 03 Workshops for the benefit of the Industry and its Beneficiaries. He has published 64 Research Papers in International and National Journals of repute. He has also published 06 Book Chapters and made 12 Research Presentations at National and International Conferences and Symposiums. He has published 24 Books and Manuals and several Extension Booklets, Leaflets, and Handouts; besides delivering Radio and TV Talks for the benefit of Stakeholder groups.
