Microstrip Antennas are widely used due to their many attractive features. There are many shapes which are used in the antenna design and fabrication. Depending on application, space availability and ease of fabrication a particular shape is considered. The egg shaped patch provides many advantages which have not been considered by the antenna community. Earlier, attempts have been made to design an egg shaped microstrip antenna by joining portion of ellipse and circular patch. In this paper, equation proposed in  is used to generate the egg shape. Antennas for different physical parameters are simulated using CST Microwave Studio. A simple formula is developed to calculate its resonant frequency using the method proposed in.
