Research Fields

Basic breeding approaches have been adopted in characterisation, evaluation and genetic variability studies in French bean genotypes collected from different parts of India. Genotypes are evaluated to understand the Genotype x Environment Interaction for identifying the stable genotypes in multi environments conditions. The promising genotypes are crossed in reciprocal combinations and forwarded to F2 generation to identify the transgressive segregants in French bean.
