About Me

I am an awardee of UGC-JRF and have done a regular Ph. D in Andhra University under the guidance of Dr. K. Eswar Kumar, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. I have 16 years of experience in both teaching and research. I have obtained my master degree from KMIPS, Rourkela, and Bachelor degree from the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Berhampur. I have received my CHSE & Matriculation from Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Nalconagar, Angul, Odisha.  I want to attend the Quality Improvement Program and Faculty Development Program.

Research Fields

Diabetes and hyperlipidemia are the prime causes of developing T2DM. Chronic hyperglycemia associated with hyperlipidemia is a common metabolic disorder in elderly patients. I have mainly interest on evaluating herbal extracts for their effects in anti-hyperglycemia, antihyperlipidemic, liver protection, wound healing effects, etc.
