About Me

A self-motivated and humble researcher who wants to utilize all the acquired technical as well as professional skills so as to provide a realistic professional education to students and develop inter-disciplinary research objectives in a challenging and ever motivating working environment by applying and honing the gained knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering.

  • After the completion of my secondary and higher secondary studies respectively from Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (2009) and Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha (2011), I was enrolled as a full time graduate student in mechanical engineering discipline under BPUT (Odisha).
  • After completing my B.Tech. (ME) in 2015, I appeared GATE-2016 and qualified the same.
  • Starting from September (2016), I got an opportunity as a lecturer to share my acquired skills with the budding young engineering minds at Indus college of Engineering (Bhubaneswar) for about two years.
  • Soon after that, I was shortlisted to pursue my full-time doctoral degree at NIT (Rourkela) in 2018 and successfully defended my final thesis entitled with "Effect of cooling media and cutting tool materials on high-speed machining of aero-space alloys" on August (2023).

Recently, I have joined as an Assistant Professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering, under Centurion University of Technology and Management, Odisha.

Research Fields

Machining of high-strength aero-space alloys (especially Ti- and Ni-based alloys) are considered to be difficult because of their inherent physical and mechanical properties which hinder easiness of machining. During my earlier experimental investigations, at first, marching is carried out under application of different cooling media such as water based MQL, pressurized air supply, vegetable oil based MQL, and nano-fluid MQL (dispersing Graphene nanoplatelets in biodegradable Jatropha oil) and thus different machining responses are analyzed.

Extending the investigation further more for the same machining outcomes, machining is carried out under sustainable and environmental-friendly dry machining condition with different grades of advanced cutting tools or traditional tools coated with advanced coatings.
