Dr. Subhasis Pati, Assistant professor in Chemistry, School of Applied Sciences, Centurion University of Technology and Management has 6 years of teaching and research experience. He has done his PhD from Bhabha Atomic research centre and M.Phill, M.Sc. from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. He has 3 years of postdoctoral experience at National University of Singapore, Singapore. His teaching and research areas are Spectroscopy, Reaction kinetics, Catalysis, Separation Science, Hydrogen energy, Waste to Energy and CO2 capture.

Research Fields

My research is devoted towards development of catalytic membrane reactors for hydrogen production and CO2 capture. Integration of membranes (Pd-alloy, zeolite, perovskite, dual-phase molten carbonate) with highly stable catalysts are conducted to achieve higher reaction yield. A part of my research is also focused on rational design of hydrogen/isotope storage materials. Facile synthesis of the materials and their application to energy and environmental applications is the main aim.
