About Me

Sujay Kumar Paul is presently pursuing PhD in Agronomy from Palli Siksha Bhavana (Institute of Agriculture), Visva Bharati, Sriniketan. His research title is “Effect of different levels of nitrogen and silicon in kharif rice and its residual effect on wheat under red and laterite soil”. He has qualified for ICAR NET in Agronomy and UGC NET in Environmental Studies in the year 2021.

He has a teaching experience of 2 years in managing the students of B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture. He worked at MITS Institute of Professional Studies, Rayagada, Odisha, from March 2022 to January 2024 before joining M.S. Swaminathan School of Agriculture of Centurion University of Technology and Management, Paralakhemundi. He was also involved in coordinating different events like painting competitions, photography competitions, rangoli-making competitions, quiz competitions & other co-curricular activities at MITS Institute of Professional Studies, Rayagada, Odisha. He coordinated different projects under different companies at Visva Bharati, Sriniketan, from 15th  February 2020 to 25th March 2021.  He also worked for 1 year and 10 months at The Soil Testing Laboratory, Palli Siksha Bhavana, Visva Bharati, Sriniketan, where he was involved in analyzing soil samples received from farmers’ fields.

He was awarded the “Undergraduate Alltech Young Scientist Award” by Alltech, USA, in the year 2014, placed 2nd place in India. He has a zeal towards his academic sphere, as evidenced by his participation in various national and international seminars, conferences, skill courses, workshops, faculty development programmes and training programmes. He has good expertise and experience extending beyond conventional boundaries and has credit for publishing in reputed journals, book chapters, review articles and other publications.
