She works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Centurion University of Technology and Management, Bhubaneswar. After completing her MA in English from Ravenshaw University, she has done B.Ed. (English) from The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad and M. Phil. (English) from Sambalpur University. During her 8 years of teaching experience, she has worked in different schools including Sri Chaitanya Techno Schools, DAV, BJB College and University of Texas at Austin, Texas, USA. She is also a NCERT Resource Person. She has developed four modules of e-content for MOOC in association of RIE, Bhopal, NCERT and developed study materials for Bihar Board.
