Description:
Nano- diamonds compromise a prospective innovative model for drug delivery and targeting, since of their lesser prime particle size, purity, admirable characteristic, facile surface functionalization , higher biocompatibility , and economical when planned for extensive production. Nano- diamonds also having the properties like Nano sized carbon building blocks possessing diverse chemical, mechanical, biological and optical characteristic active moiety, which allows them significant active moiety carriers for biomedical appliance. Surface alteration or functionalization with biological molecules shows a important character in handling the toxic nature because nanodiamonds have tailorable exterior chemistry. This review highlights on the basic properties, synthesis techniques, surface amendment techniques, toxicity problems and biomedical utilizations of nanodiamonds.

Ocular Drug Delivery With Special Reference To Natural Polymer
Publisher: Journal of Pharmaceutical Negative Results
Because ofthe distinctiveanatomical and physiological barriers, ocular medication administration is a particularly difficult task. The scientists were required to create novel formulation to medications to ocular tissues at a controlled rate to decreasethe frequency of instillations due tothe low ocular bioavalibility (10%) obtained from standard formulation.Natural polymers have demonstrated the ability to topically deliver medications throughoutthe small precorneal region and dischargethem over an extended periodof time. The discussion covers the key elements that must be taken into account when creating ophthalmic formulations, such as the features of the drug molecule and the polymer that influence the release rate. Chitosan, Polyvinyl alcohol, Sodium alginate, and Nanocrystalline cellulose are examples of novel polymers
